Launch of the Beyoncé and Jay-Z "Apeshit" art tour at the Louvre

Last month, the new album of Jay-Z and Beyoncé Everything Is Love came with a video clip for the single "Apeshit" badisted by Migos who represented the couple at the Louvre. Now, AFP reports that the infamous museum will host a tour based on Carter's video. This is not the first time that the Louvre has capitalized on the growing popularity of the fine arts in hip-hop. In 2014, the museum organized a tour inspired by "Mona Lisa Smile" by singer Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am, which included many references to other moments of pop culture that pay tribute to the Leonardo da Vinci's work. Apart from hip-hop, the museum hosted a surprise DJ by Win Butler and Régine Chbadagne of Arcade Fire in 2016.
