Former US President Barack Obama told stories of his childhood in Kenya to laugh in Kogela on Monday as he opened the sports and educational facilities of his sister Auma Obama, the Sauti Kuu Foundation [19659002]which saw NBA Vice President and General Manager Amadou Gallo Fall, as well as Charlotte Hornets President Bismack Biyombo and Toronto Raptors President Masai Ujiri
Barack Obama recalled arrival of his family in the United States. He hoped that the new center will make life easier for young Kenyans.
Obama spoke before his trip to South Africa, where he will deliver the 16th annual Nelson Mandela Conference at the Wanderers Cricket Stadium in Johannesburg on Tuesday at 2 pm. mark what would have been the 100th anniversary of Madiba
The Obama speech will be on the theme "Renewing Mandela's Legacy and Promoting Active Citizenship in a Changing World." Tuesday in Johannesburg, organized by The Nelson Mandela Foundation in partnership with the Motsepe Foundation and the Obama Foundation.
On Monday in Kenya, Obama said about the new sports and education center: "When I think about what Auma has accomplished in the construction of this center, I think of this first night at BR (Baton Rouge in the United States) – and the first night of falling asleep without running water or indoor plumbing.
"And the fact that because she knew where she was coming from, and how it related to the youth of this community who may not have as much As we did it. We have done, it is in this spirit that the wonderful facility we see today has been built.
"So, I tell you this story because I can not be more proud of what my sister accomplished."

Amadou Gallo Fall stated that the help given to the school was part of the strategy to ensure that young people in Kenya can flourish and make basketball an accessible sport.
