Samsung's latest QLED televisions are landing today in South Africa

The latest range of Samsung QLED TVs is a magnificent sight to be seen and from today you will be able to get your hands on one.

While these have features that you expect from a TV in 2018 (UHD resolution, HDR, etc.) they also boast some finesse. One of them is the One Invisible Connection.

In order to remove clutter from the cables at the back of the TV, Samsung uses a single cable that carries both data and power, though separately. Samsung tells us that the power cable is shielded so as not to experience interference.

This cable connects the TV to the One Connect Box which seems rather garish next to the elegant TV if we are honest. This is not really a problem because the One Connect Box may be hidden from view.

Another feature of these new QLED TVs is the ambient mode. This allows the TV to present your favorite pictures or blend into your wall.

QLED TVs will be available in 55 inch, 65 inch, 75 inch and 82 inch formats and are available today with prices ranging from 22,000 rand R100,000 to the largest 82 inch TV.

Samsung South Africa also said that it will include additional value in the form of Samsung Signature services (professional installation and setup of your TV the same day or the next day), sound bars and R1,000 in Google Play movie rentals. These extras will differ from television to television.
