 Destiny 2 Abandoned (2)

There is some satisfaction with having a full set of themed firearms in Fate 2. Right now, I'm just trying that with the Osiris-themed summer catalog of weapons, oversized bullets and metal delivery systems that I am are about to finish. We all have a completer in us, and this guy is going to be very pleased with the way Bungie handles his collection of weapons in the Forsaken expansion.

One of the biggest new features of this mbadive slice of DLC, will be collections. A menu that you can call at any time, Collections detail exactly what you have and what you did not have . The biggest draw of Collections is that it will allow players to grab all the weapons, armor, ghosts, ships, sparrows, emblems or shaders they want, for a small price of course. On Bungie's blog, the developer has detailed how the system will work:

 D2 Collections 2

  • Re-acquisition is not a money pit. We do not try to make you spend all your hard earned Glimmer. We just want to make sure that the things you discover around the world still have value.
  • Players will not have to do currency conversions. For example, if a shader disbadembles Glimmer, it costs Glimmer to reacquire it. If the shader comes from Eververse, it disbadembles itself in Bright Dust and therefore costs Bright Dust to reacquire. These same objectives are valid for all items in the Collection.

 D2 Collections 1

The most important part of this system is the amount of power that each requisitioned item will receive when players catch it in their collection inventory. Bungie says they will try to prevent objects from creating a power leveling feat, with weapons and hardware usually matching your Guardian's Light Level.

The trap here is that players will not be able to buy at random The legendary weapons and armor rolled from their collection once the second year begins. Bungie is trying to solve this problem, but the Guardians will at least be able to tell what they have, before storing it in their safe and quickly forget it until they A weekend where Xur offers the Huckleberry and that they catch a few. Destiny 2: Forsaken launches on September 4th, which gives you only a few precious months to say goodbye to Cayde-6.
