To counter Reliance Jio, Vodafone has revised its prepaid recharge plan Rs 458 for some users to offer daily data of 2.8 GB. This means that users can benefit from a total of 235.2 GB of data as well as unlimited calls for 84 days as part of this plan. The report notes that SMS benefits are not included in Vodafone's Rs 458 recharge offer. For some Vodafone customers, the same Rs 458 package is available for Rs 398. Airtel's Rs 448 Prepaid Charging Plan offers 1.4 GB daily data, unlimited local and STD calls, roaming incoming and outgoing calls, and 100 local / national SMS per day for 82 days. Vodafone recently updated its pre-paid Rs 199 plan to offer 2.8 GB of data per day, compared to 1.4 GB of daily data previously. The validity is 28 days. This was first reported by TelecomTalk. This means that prepaid users in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, as well as Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles, will not receive 2.8 GB of data per day from the Rs 199 plan. For these circles, the Rs 199 plan will continue to offer 1.4 GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
