Zimbabwe: Chamisa Denies Grace VP Pact, Zanu-PF Scorns for Tormenting Mugabe

Marondera – MDC Presidential Candidate Alliance, Nelson Chamisa has rubbished state media claims he has promised to form First Lady Grace Mugabe to Vice President

The State-Owned Sunday Mail ran a story claiming the presidential hopeful had "jumped into bed" with President Robert Mugabe's wife.

Grace is said to be behind the National Patriotic Front (NPF), Political opposition formed by disgruntled G40 politicians who were elbowed out of the rulers when President Emmersn Mnangagwa took over the country following Mugabe's shock ouster

Addressing thousands of party supporters at rally at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera on Sunday, Chamanda accused Zanu PF and the State-controlled media of public misleading of this year's elections July 30.

"I have not run out of opt That I would resort to topping Grace Mugabe as my vice president. Do not listen to the Sunday Mail.

Chamisa said.

The opposition leader said he found it strange that after working with Mugabe for 56 years, Mnangagwa and Zanu PF now found everything is so wrong about the world

"As the MDC Alliance, we respect Mugabe's legacy but he is now Retired, "Chamisa said, adding," Why is Zanu PF tormenting him? "If he wants to vote, he wants to vote.

The Rudhaka rally was Chamisa's 57th rally since he launched it and it was going to be the first time it was going to be held in Sakurva Stadium in Manicaland.
