Former defensive lineman All-Pro, Albert Haynesworth, presented Wednesday night Instagram with a very sad update of his personal situation. Haynesworth is apparently at the Williamson Medical Center in Franklyn, Tennessee, where he is being treated for kidney failure. In addition to providing an update for fans and followers, the Haynesworth publication serves as a plea for potential kidney donors.

Since retiring, Haynesworth has had difficult times in health. In his article on Instagram, he mentions the two brain aneurysms that he experienced in 2014 and that he described in 2016 as almost fatal. Haynesworth retired from the NFL in 2011 after 10 seasons in the league. He spent the best years of his career with the Titans of Tennessee. He has twice been Pro Bowl World Champion and was named the first All-Pro Team in 2007 and 2008. Half of his career was mainly made up of a long spiral signed which was ultimately considered as one of the worst contracts in football history with Washington in 2009.
