California among the worst states in retirement, report says

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – California is one of the worst states in which it has retired, according to a new report.

, place California in the 43^rd overall position on the list of the best and worst states to retire.

To create the list, the site examined a number of important factors for retirees, including the cost of living and weather conditions.

While California ranked 13^th for the weather, Golden State also placed the penultimate when it comes to affordability.

California also ranked 34^th for crime and 17^th for culture.
