‘Mean Girls’ Day is upon us once again, with fans around the world paying homage to the 2004 film with featured gifs and memes Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) told Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan): “It’s October 3rd.”
But Alicia Silverstone celebrates the day a little differently, admitting that her character Cher from 1995’s “Clueless” was actually the one who fractured Regina George’s spine.
Although nothing will ever surpass “Ugh, as if!” Silverstone still had some incredibly memorable one-liners in “Oops! My bad ”and“ Should we drop them a note? And Silverstone used the former to caption their “Mean Girls” tribute this year.
In a video posted to his TikTok, Silverstone was thoughtful at first, the caption of the photo being “Looking back on that day …”. The video then returns to Regina George (Rachel McAdams) confronting Cady on the street, just before she is hit by a bus. Only this time it’s not a bus, it’s Cher.
Silverstone used another of his “Clueless” lines for the voiceover, saying Regina “came out of nowhere.”
For those who haven’t seen “Clueless” in a while, a little reminder: Cher is a terrible pilot. On her driving test, she was unable to turn right, nearly killed a biker, and slipped a few cars to the side. So no, she didn’t pass her first try.

Although Silverstone also tagged Lindsay Lohan in her post, the star of the film had not responded as of this writing. But the official “Mean Girls” Twitter account did and took it all in stride, citing the line from Silverstone.
