Alioune updates Guilty Gear Strive tier list ahead of Goldlewis Dickinson release

[ad_1]

At the end of last month, Alioune released a tier list for Guilty Gear Strive that Sol Badguy sat at the very top of. The seasoned fighting game player recently decided to update his tier list right before the release of Goldlewis Dickinson.

Unsurprisingly, Sol Badguy still resides in the S + level. It’s also worth mentioning that there are still no characters in the S-level category, which seems to highlight a big gap between Sol Badguy and the rest of the roster.

Alioune moved Anji Mito from the B-level group and placed him in the A-level. This leaves Potemkin all alone at the B-level, indicating that he is the worst character in the game at the moment.

Zato-1 and Leo Whitefang were also repositioned from category A to category A +. This means that there are now 6 characters in A + level instead of 4.

Alioune emphasizes that the characters in each level category are not ordered. In other words, Chipp Zanuff isn’t necessarily better than Zato-1 even though Chipp is seen at the top of A + while Zato-1 has been seen at the bottom.

At this time, it’s unclear if Guilty Gear Strive will implement any balance adjustments with the release of Goldlewis Dickinson on July 27 (July 30 for those without the Season Pass).

Either way, the addition of Goldlewis Dickinson has the potential to change the tier list with his mere presence since each character will have a new match against him. We’ll just have to see where it ends up on the tier lists once it’s available.
