An Amtrak train has been stuck in Oakridge, Oregon since Sunday after hitting a fallen tree and the weather has deteriorated.

Amtrak officials said the Coast Starlight train 11, between 183 passengers and its crew, had hit a fallen tree shortly after 6:15 pm. Sunday.

Amtrak said that no one had been hurt.

More snow and falling trees further complicated the traffic on the tracks and, because there was no way to transport the passengers to another mode of transportation, the train stopped at Oakridge.

Amtrak said he was working with Union Pacific to clean the lanes and allow the passengers to get off the train.

In a video she tweeted Monday night, passenger Rebekah Dodson said that she and the other passengers were stranded for another night. She said that they were short of supplies.

"Our crew has been working for 30 hours or more, and there are rumors that the National Guard would pick it up, but not the passengers," she said. "It's now 6 o'clock in the evening, it's dark, there's still snow on the way … … please, send help, if possible." Thank you. "
