CLEARWATER, FL – An employee of an Arby Institution in Clearwater has been identified as a positive case of hepatitis A, according to the Florida County Health Department of Pinellas.

DOH-Pinellas conducted an investigation into an Arby's at 30,263 U 19 North in Clearwater and determined that one of the food service workers was infected with the virus.

The employee could have been contagious between April 5 and April 20, according to DOH-Pinellas.

DOH-Pinellas said in a statement that "if you are attending this restaurant during this time and you have not yet been vaccinated against hepatitis A, you should consider doing so."
