(CNN) – An asteroid larger than some of the tallest buildings in the world will pass through the Earth today.

The 2000 QW7 asteroid, whose diameter is estimated at between 951 and 2,132 feet, will move to 14,361 mph when it will rise to less than 3,312,944 miles from Earth at 19:54, according to CNN.

The second tallest building is Shanghai's 1,200 meter tower.

Although astronomers do not believe that the asteroid is a danger to us, the NASA Near Object Studies Center is still monitoring it.
