However, the mother told the court that the herbalist had described her "pancreas reg" (pancreatic regeneration protein) as "the insulin of God" and that it could be used instead of the actual insulin.
The court learned that his mother, Madrigal, had been "brainwashed" by Morrow, who claims on his website that he has cured his own cancer. Before her son's death, she refused to give Edgar insulin while he had asked for it, believing in Morrow when he told her that it was poison.
