An Irvine schoolgirl was left in tears after being denied entry into a trampoline park "because she is suffering from Downs syndrome".
Dana Henry went to Flip Out in Glasgow last week to spend a fun day with her parents, Lisa, 29, and Colin, 34, and the little sister Ava, eight – but the 10-year-old's daughter. is denied entry to the door because of her. state.

Dana, a Lawthorn Primary student, attends Irvine Newtown Gymnastics in Dreghorn and has been approved by her doctor and the British Gymnastics Association.
Lisa said, "We had all been to Flip Out and we had never had a problem. I had even called to inform them of Dana's condition and they said that everything would be fine.
"But then we got there and they put the groups on all the other kids and they just passed by Dana and then they told us that she could not continue because she's suffering from the Down syndrome I could not believe it She was standing right next door and burst into tears because she could hear what they were saying.
"We try to make sure that Dana is not treated differently from other kids, and then something like that happens, that made me feel sick."
"I even showed them Dana's gym card, which proves that she is able to participate in these kinds of activities, but that did not interest them.
"They were trying to tell me about my child's condition, as if I were stupid, I would never put Dana in a situation where she could be hurt, she had already been to trampoline parks and she loved them. "
Lisa says Flip Out gave the family free passes on her next visit and offered them a free lunch. She added: "They told us to go to the cafe and get some free food, but we just wanted to leave." By then, Dana was crying and I was crying and my husband was starting to To agitate, so we left. "
