Andrew Yang's pledge of $ 120,000 made guests laugh

Following the third Democratic presidential debate on Wednesday, Trevor Noah and the rest of the night had a busy day with Andrew Yang's dividend contest. Yang, whose presidential platform focuses on universal basic income, kicked off Wednesday's debate by turning the platform into a draw prize for 10 campaign supporters.

"My campaign will now give a dividend of $ 1,000 per week for 10 years to 10 American families," Yang said in his opening remarks. To which Trevor Noah replied, "Whoa, look at Asian Oprah here" in The Daily Show later in the night.

Noah joked that Yang did not expect to win the presidency to adopt his policy, he is doing it now. The Daily Show host thought it was a cool moment, but was glad the other candidates did not follow suit.

"Glad that none of the others have been there Bernie, okay, I'm going to do my health care for free now!" Lose your pants! "Everyone is having a prostate test now! world passes an exam! " jokes Noah with the reminder of Oprah.
