Ryan Murphy revealed today that pose star Angelica Ross joined the cast of American horror story: 1984. She joins Emma Roberts and Gus Kenworthy, previously announced cast members, for Season 9 of the FX anthologies series.
"The last night's installment episode has all asked us to dig deep – @janetmock as a writer, myself as a writer and director, but most of all our incredible women, "Murphy wrote in a post on Instagram. "I have to applaud @angelicaross for his stunt of a performance as Candy Abundance Ferocity. It's a gift to see her flourish as a real star and an undeniable talent.
"Although she is still our Candy and our series is suffering this incredible loss, I am delighted that the world is getting a lot more Angelic," he continued. Ryan's reference to pose"The incredible loss", refers to the episode of last night in which the character of Ross, Candy, was shockingly killed.
We know little about AHS Season 9, apart from the chosen theme, is the slasher films of the 80s.
