Animal Crossing: New Horizons NookLink App Update, New Catalog Feature Now Available

NookLink

NookLink, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons service available in the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app, has received a brand new update that adds a handy new feature.

When you open your app for the first time after updating, you’ll see a brand new icon on the NookLink home screen called ‘Catalog’. By heading here – as long as your app and game are updated to the latest versions – you will be able to view your in-game catalog from your mobile.

You can browse your items at your leisure, searching by name, criteria (like color, whether the item is customizable or its cost), or browsing your favorites. It’s a very nifty way to find information about things without having to start the game, and actually offers more tools and filters for your searches than the game itself.

In a welcome touch, the app also lets you browse your cataloged paintings and statues, meaning you can theoretically scroll through your already saved works while watching the new items on offer in Crazy Redd’s Treasure Trawler (thanks to Animal Crossing World for this cheeky tip).
