This animation shows how the smallest known moon of Neptune, now called Hippocamp, could appear close together.
In animation, the camera rotates once around the little moon, showing the distant sun first and at the end the planet Neptune, that the moon is in orbit.
While the NASA / ESA Hubble Space Telescope has allowed researchers to discover the moon and measure its diameter, about 32 kilometers in diameter, Hubble's images do not allow visualization of surface structures.
