Anthony Bourdain's property will be auctioned to raise money for his family.

Now, fans can own some of what the adventurer had in his – more than 200 Bourdain personal effects will be auctioned next month.

Items include paintings, clothing, and even a bespoke Bob Kramer chef's knife worth more than $ 6,000. According to Marilyn White, spokeswoman for Lark Mason Associates, the entire collection would have cost up to $ 400,000, was hired by the Bourdain family to oversee the auction.

The prices of various items vary from a few hundred to a few thousand, 60% of the proceeds being donated to the family of Bourdain – his separated wife, Ottavia Busia, and his daughter Ariane.

The remaining 40% will go to the Anthony Bourdain Legacy Scholarship at the Culinary Institute of America, a scholarship for students who spend a semester abroad or follow a program in world cuisines or international cultures.

Auctioned property includes works by Ralph Steadman and John Lurie, both exhibited on Bourdain's "Parts Unknown" show.

The painting for sale Lurie, "The sky falls, I learn to live with," was bought by Bourdain a little more than a week before his death.

Bourdain, the host of CNN's award-winning series "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown", has committed suicide in 2018 during a shoot in France.
