Anthony Davis did not change trade position after pelicans ranked first, compared

The pelicans of New Orleans had a big night on Tuesday, winning the first pick of the NBA's draw lottery, while they had only a six percent chance of doing so.

This choice will almost certainly be Zion Williamson, and the immediate idea was perhaps an addition like Williamson, or the potential commercial return he would command, might be enough to convince Anthony Davis to reconsider his position he wishes to leave at New Orleans. For the moment, this does not seem to be the case.

New Orleans will definitely stay on Davis and will continue to try to convince him to stay, but anyway, they certainly have many more options with Williamson rights in their pockets. What a night for pelicans, and head coach Alvin Gentry let him know.
