Anthony Davis Rumors: The Offer Announced By The Lakers Could Not Have Been True | Bleacher's report

Jackie MacMullan of ESP.com reported on ESPN The jump On Friday, the deals announced by Anthony Davis of the All-Star Pelicans Center in New Orleans by the Los Angeles Lakers may not have been true.

MacMullan did not specify which bid reported could have been false. Many of them have occurred between Davis's transaction request. January 28 and February 5, when the Lakers would have ended the trade negotiations by the Los Angeles Times.

It seemed that everyone, LeBron James, was not part of the Lakers group in early February. Brad Turner of Los Angeles Times said the Purple and Gold were willing to trade six players and two players for the first round against Davis and Solomon Hill.

Regardless of what the Lakers offered or not, the team's president, Magic Johnson, was not satisfied with the outcome of the negotiations. By Dave McMenamin Johnson, from ESPN.com, answered "no" to the question of whether pelicans were in good faith during discussions.

Davis is a free agent in 2020, but he is almost certain that he will wear the uniform of another team before next season.

The Lakers will have another chance to reach an agreement with the Pels, but with another general manager. Dell Demps, general manager of the Pelicans since 2010, was dismissed in February.

Los Angeles has a lot of competition for Davis, a 25-year-old, six-time star team member and three-time NBA team member. As The jump The Boston Celtics should be right in their composition, given their collection of young players and their first-round picks.

The longer-term question is whether the team that finally lands the superstar can convince him to stay beyond 2020 for a long-term contract.

Despite what is happening, do not expect Davis's speech to end any time soon.
