Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Appeared to make another raw prediction on climate change this week, suggesting that an entire city would disappear in "a few years".
Ocasio-Cortez was touting her "Green New Deal" program on Wednesday at a NAACP forum, when she spoke to critics who called her projects "unrealistic."
"What is unrealistic is not to react to the crisis – not to provide a solution to the extent of the crisis," she said. "Because what's unrealistic is that Miami will not exist in a few years, it's not realistic, so we have to be realistic about the problem."

"We must begin to understand how extreme the problem is," she said, "because we will not accept … the magnitude of climate change and its impact on the life of our children, will we be comfortable to really pursue great solutions. "
The Conservatives were previously mocking Ocasio-Cortez by suggesting that the world only had 12 years to support life because of climate change.
