With the arrival of the Season 8 trailer featuring the new Agent Fuse, players got to take a peek at a revamped Kings Canyon. Apex Legends previously removed Kings Canyon and World’s Edge from rotation, but with World’s Edge back in play, Kings Canyon also looks set for an explosive return.

We all know and love Kings Canyon, which has hosted the Apex Games since its release in 2019. World’s Edge released a bit later – at the start of Season 3 – but Kings Canyon has to return now, if the Fuse reveals trailer. which fell on January 21, 2020 is quite valid.

With the start of Season 7, Olympus was the only one we could play on before World’s Edge returned. With the current season almost to a close, here is all the information we currently have about Kings Canyon returning to Apex Legends and what it might look like.

Fuse’s arrival sees the OG map landscape receiving a huge facelift.

Previously, the developers had not provided an exact date when we could expect to see this map return to Apex, but the Season 8 reveal gave us a concrete release date of February 2, 2021.

What will Kings Canyon look like in season 8?

With the reveal of Season 8, we got another look at the OG map. In a festive opening to the trailer, we see NPC citizens all excited about Fuse’s reveal. From there, however, an unknown character called Maggie ignites the event, dispatching agents like Bloodhound, Lifeline, and Fuse himself, scattering to help save the Epic Map and the watching citizens.

Explosions went off all over the map, giving it a huge facelift. As the rubble settles, a destroyed and flame-ravaged Kings Canyon emerges.
