The Apex Legends tournaments have remained quite dormant since the game's launch, but all that has changed: ESPN has announced that they will host two major tournaments this summer.
For those of you who have been waiting for the competitive Apex Legends scene to be reestablished, this is the perfect opportunity.
ESPN announced on June 5 that it would create EXP, a new series of events that will feature a plethora of competitions at ESPN-owned events.

Two tournaments are in progress.
Apex Legends will kick off two events this summer, The 2019 ESPYS and X Games Minneapolis 2019.
The ESPYS event will be a celebrity-type pro-am event like Fortnite and will feature celebrities, influencers and athletes in what is called the Expo EXP Pro -Am Apex Legends. This will take place on July 11th.

Season 2 is about to start.
The most competitive event will take place at the X-Games, it's called EXP Invitational – Apex Legends at the X Games in Minneapolis. This event will take place from August 1st to 4th and will be the only esports event presented at the X Games.
Starting June 12 and until June 22, fans will have the opportunity to win a place alongside athletes, celebrities and influential people, as well as to attend the event. ESPYS 2019 by making a donation in the hope of winning the ESPYS contest.

Season 2 is on the way too
The excitement of Apex Legends is rising with the start of season 2 on the horizon.
On June 8th, at EA Play 2019, information on Season 2 will be unveiled, including new points of interest on the map, weapons and a new legend.
A new Battle Pass would also have been shown, with a double XP, daily and weekly challenges, and more.
