Apple Fitness + instructors tease upcoming service as ‘late 2020’ launch nears

[ad_1]

Apple Fitness + is expected to launch before the end of 2020, although no specific date has yet been announced. Ahead of the launch, Fitness + instructors are taking to Instagram to announce that the service is launching “soon” and that they are recording workouts.

Almost all of the Instagram images below were shared last week, pointing out that Apple is likely encouraging Fitness + instructors to tease the service’s launch. The articles use the hashtag #CloseYourRings and mention the @AppleFitinessPlus account.

None of the articles mention a launch date for Apple Fitness +, but Apple is running out of time at “end of 2020” to launch the service. Given the new surge of social media by instructors, we’re inclined to think the service will launch sooner rather than later.

Additionally, the current beta of watchOS 7.2 includes references to Apple Fitness + as one of the new features in the update. The iOS 14.3 beta also briefly included a reference to Apple Fitness + in the Settings app, although that mention was removed.

Apple Fitness + was first announced in September alongside the Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE. This is a training course subscription service powered by Apple Watch. It will feature workouts in popular categories including cycling, treadmill, rowing, HIIT, strength, yoga, dance, core and cooldown.

Apple says new Apple Fitness + workouts will be released every week. The focus will also be on Apple Music, with each class offering a “carefully curated by the trainers” playlist. When available, Apple Fitness + will be located in the Fitness app on the iPhone, running iOS 14. You can also workout on the Apple Watch, and Apple is also launching a Fitness app for Apple TV.

Apple Fitness + will cost $ 9.99 per month or $ 79.99 per year. It’s also included in the Apple One Premier bundle, which also offers Apple Music, Apple TV +, Apple Arcade, 2TB of iCloud, and Apple News + for $ 29.95 per month.

Again, there is still no firm release date for Apple Fitness +, but Apple has promised that the service is set to debut in late 2020. Do you plan to subscribe? Let us know in the comments!
