Apple’s PRODUCT (RED) devices are central to the company’s website today. In partnership with (RED), Apple has announced that it will redirect 100% of eligible revenue from its PRODUCT (RED) devices and accessories to the Global Fund’s COVID-19 relief efforts by June 30.

Apple updated its website today in the US and globally to note that all donations from sales of its PRODUCT (RED) line that are normally used to fight HIV / AIDS will be temporarily redirected to the pandemic relief (which will actually help maintain HIV / AIDS). AIDS programs in life). Apple features the news on its homepage in the United States and other countries after its first appearance on Apple’s Japanese site.

Last April, Apple and (RED) began donating a portion of eligible revenue to the Global COVID-19 Relief Fund, but it is now 100% up to June 30, 2021.

Here is the announcement that the pandemic relief notes will help sustain “vital HIV / AIDS programs” in Africa.

Over the past 14 years, our partnership with (RED) has resulted in nearly $ 250 million in donations to fund HIV / AIDS treatment programs. Until June 30, Apple is working with (RED) to redirect 100% of eligible products from (PRODUCT) RED purchases to the Global Fund’s COVID-19 response. This will provide critical support to the health systems most threatened by the epidemic and, in turn, help to sustain life-saving HIV / AIDS programs in sub-Saharan Africa.

Apple is showcasing its PRODUCT (RED) line of devices and accessories, including the iPhone 12 and the rest of the current iPhone lineup, Apple Watch bands, iPad cases, Beats headphones, and more.

If you don’t need new Apple products, you can also donate directly to (RED) on the nonprofit organization’s website here.
