The company is expected to launch Apple Arcade on September 10, on the occasion of the release of the new iPhone. The basic idea of the service is that users pay a fixed monthly fee to play as many participating games as they wish. Each subscription will also include access for up to six family members. Players will be able to access Arcade on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. Games for desktop and mobile will be included.
The service should include more than 100 games, including titles new and entirely exclusive to Apple. After reviewing the advance access program, 9to5Mac indicated that a variety of games were available for download in the store, most of which were still in development.
It is likely that we will have to wait until next month to find out more about what Apple Arcade reserves. But if the price of $ 5 is correct, it's a reasonable price for a gaming service, not to mention cheaper than the $ 10 a month cost of services like Apple News + and Apple Music.
