Michigan International Speedway results for the ARCA Menards Series

Today, the ARCA Menards Series arrives in Brooklyn, Michigan. The 2-mile oval is expected to accommodate the Henry Ford Health Systems 200.

Green flag, Heim and Gibbs even run around the first corner. Gibbs and Heim run from wing to wing, the doors sliding into the first corner. Gibbs rolls in the middle and forces Heim to run high into the dirty line. Heim takes the lead of turn two.

Behind them, Drew Dollar and Thad Moffitt make contact. Dollar chases him up the hill and pushes Moffitt into the wall. Intense contact but no caution as both cars head into the pit lane.

Gibbs side, Heim comes out of the second round. He pulls it back and goes inside.

DL Wilson is in smoke and caution is in order for the liquid on the track. Connor Mosack stalls under the yellow.

Green, Gibbs was two car lengths into the first corner as Nick Sanchez took second.

Lap 23, Drew Dollar gets kicked to the left-back by Thad Moffitt. Dollar supports him in the fence and Tim Richmond is recovered. Big damage for these two cars.

Green, Gibbs leads as Heim and Sanchez run side by side for 2nd place. Sanchez takes 2nd place with clean air on the bottom lane in turn three.

On lap 35, Gibbs was ahead of Sanchez by 1 second.

Race break # 1

Lap 36, the first race break warning came out.

Green, Gibbs leads as Snachez breaks away behind him. Sam Mayer even succeeds in the second round. They stay side by side on turn three.

Back at the first corner, Sanchez drives it deep into the first corner and finally clears Mayer from the second corner.

Lap 44, Zachary Tinkle goes up in smoke and heads for the pit lane.

On lap 50, Gibbs was ahead of Sanchez by 2.5 seconds. He moves away.

Lap 64, Mayer has a run over Sanchez at the second corner. Mayer dives in and completes the pass for the 2nd in the first corner. Sanchez is fighting for 2nd place.

Race break # 2

On lap 70, the second and final race breakage warning came out. The ground is frozen over as they reach the pit lane.

Green, Gibbs gets the jump and Heim follows him on the outside lane. Heim dives inside on turn one! Side by side for the head, Gibbs pinches him to the ground, Heim breaks away and they almost make contact at turn two.

Heim dives deep into turn three but Gibbs pinches his entry. He lets go again, Gibbs holds his head to the outside hallway.

On lap 78, Gracie Trotter and Jason Kittzmiller got tangled in turn four and the yellow came out. Big damage for these two cars.

Green, Gibbs leads and he puts Sanchez in dirty air in the first round. Gibbs keeps him in the dirty air on turn three and Heim loses his nose. Mayer looks inside Heim for the 2nd but he can’t complete this pass.

On lap 87, Heim came back on Gibbs’ bumper. Gibbs throws a block again and holds the head.

Turn 90, Gibbs meanders in the last section to try to break any draft.

5 to go, Gibbs widened the gap to 0.5 seconds.

2 to go, Heim got closer to a car length of Gibbs as they race for the win. Nick Sanchez is firm on both.

1 to go, Gibbs leads Heim a car’s length into the first corner. He holds this gap in the second round.

Gibbs holds him back to win at Michigan International Speedway!
