Arcade Shoot 'Em Up Cotton making a surprise return on Switch

Good news for shoot aficionados since Beep has officially confirmed that he is working on a new Cotton Reboot the franchise – heading to multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Although there is not much information on this new entry at the moment, the company has revealed that it would be based on the conversion of the Japanese house X68000 from the first game of Series, Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams.

For those who are unfamiliar with the series developed by Success, it consists of horizontal shmups (with the exception of the technically impressive output of Sega Mega Drive, Cotton Panorama) and has the player controlling a titled witch named Cotton and his fairy mate Silk, while navigating through colorful but increasingly challenging levels that usually end in huge boss battles.
