The Arizona Cardinals will have an injured offensive lineman available for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams while Justin Pugh is active. He will likely start at the left guard.
Right tackle Kelvin Beachum is inactive for the second week in a row, while guard / tackle Justin Murray is also inactive. Beachum fractured his ribs in the season opener against the Tennessee Titans. Pugh and Murray injured their backs in the first half of last Sunday’s game in Jacksonville.
Josh Jones is expected to start on the right tackle with Max Garcia at right guard. Other active offensive linemen besides starting left tackle DJ Humphries and center Rodney Hudson are goaltender Sean Harlow and goaltender / tackles Koda Martin and Eric Smith. Smith was raised to the practice roster on Saturday.
Reserve-activated / injured outside linebacker and special teams captain Dennis Gardeck is also active and making his 2021 debut, nominated for return on Saturday. Chris Banjo, raised on the practice squad for the third time on Saturday, is the team’s fourth safety and special teams player.
The remaining inactive are quarterback Chris Streveler, wide receiver Andy Isabella, running back Eno Benjamin, cornerback Tay Gowan and linebacker Victor Dimukeje.
Isabella is inactive for the second game in a row following the return of wide receiver Antoine Wesley from the reserve / COVID-19. Benjamin was ruled out on Friday due to a hamstring injury, but has yet to be active for a game since being selected in the seventh round of the 2020 Draft.
For the Rams, running back Darrell Henderson Jr., who did not play last Sunday due to a rib injury, is active, as are wide receiver TuTu Atwell and linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. Like Gardeck, Okoronkwo was activated from reserve / injured, nominated for return on Saturday. Atwell, also a kick returner, was declared doubtful on Friday due to illness.
