PHOENIX – Following the CDC’s recommendation that everyone again wear face covers or masks indoors – including those already vaccinated against COVID-19 – due to growing concerns about the delta variant, some local governments and stores have updated their mask policies.

The majority of the changes primarily affect employees rather than customers, however, stores are strongly encouraging people to wear a mask and get vaccinated against COVID-19 if they haven’t already.
Here’s what you need to know.
Masks always compulsory at the airport and on planes. A federal mask mandate remains in effect requiring everyone to wear a mask at the airport, through security, in the terminal and on the plane.
