Arlo Parks – “Hope”

[ad_1]

London singer-songwriter Arlo Parks has already won high profile fans like Billie Eilish, Phoebe Bridgers, Florence Welch and Clairo, who featured on her recent single “Green Eyes.” And she will probably earn a lot more with the release of her debut album Collapsed in the rays of the sun Friday. We’ve already uploaded “some early tracks”, and today Parks is sharing a final single before the big day: “Hope”.

“The song surrounds isolation, being present in your pain and knowing that you are not the only one on the planet who is feeling down,” Parks said in a statement. “I think especially at times like these it’s important to focus on the inevitability that things will get better.” The track is accompanied by a video from director Molly Burdett. “This video for me is a warm and vibrant exploration of friendship and introversion,” Parks says. “I think there is something so powerful about the saturated and film textures, the human portraits and the euphoric representations.”
