Artspace / Lima Hosts Global Film Festivals | New

Thanks to Artspace / Lima, community moviegoers were able to vote for the Manhattan Short Film Festival.

Over the past week, people around the world got to watch 10 short films shown at the festival. Artspace / Lima was one of the theaters that screened over 400 films.

Saturday was the last screening night of the festival, and the final ballot was cast for Best Actors and Best Picture Awards. Artspace says it’s a great fundraiser, and they always try to support a variety of art forms.

Sally Windle, Executive Director of Artspace / Lima, said: We shared the door with the Manhattan Film Shorts Company, but there’s also the real creativity that comes out of the film. Independent filmmakers usually have a very interesting way of telling their story. It’s still an art form, so I’d like to introduce it to you as well. “

The winner of the festival will automatically qualify as an Oscar.
