Ashton Kutcher bought a ticket for the upcoming Virgin Galactic flight but Mila Kunis sold it on

Ashton Kutcher has revealed that he bought a ticket for Virgin Galactic’s next flight to space, only to then resell it.

The 43-year-old shared that his wife Mila Kunis had persuaded him not to go because of their children Wyatt, six, and Dimitri, four.

“When I got married and had kids, my wife basically encouraged that it wasn’t a smart family decision to go to space when we have young children,” the star said. of Punk’d in an interview with Cheddar News.

“So I ended up reselling my ticket to Virgin Galactic and I was supposed to be on the next flight but I won’t be on the next flight,” he said.

“But at some point, I go to space! Insisted Ashton, who met Mila while they were performing together on That ’70s Show and has been married to her since 2015.

Ashton’s reveal comes just days after Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson boarded the company’s first flight into space.

Sir Richard and five of his employees boarded a space plane called VSS Unity and the flight lasted about an hour before returning safely to Earth.

The charismatic billionaire traveled up to 280,000 feet above the ground and freed himself from the planet’s gravitational pull despite remaining in orbit.

He postponed his flight earlier than originally scheduled in order to defeat Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos in their space race.

Meanwhile, Mila was in Toronto filming an upcoming Netflix film adaptation of Jessica Knoll’s 2015 novel Luckiest Girl In the World.

“Our whole family is already co-dependent, so this pandemic only fuels all of our co-dependency,” she told Entertainment Tonight in January.

“And my husband and I were super co-addicted for about eight years and in this pandemic our kids are like, ‘Where are you going?’ And I was like, “The bathroom”. We have not left each other. We are in the house.
