Rob Wood shot a 47 and Matt Marchefka rolled a 55, each earning four points as the Franklin Tech golf team claimed a 15-9 victory over Pioneer on Tuesday at Northfield Golf Club.
Brady Booska shot a low 43 for the Eagles while Alex Sulda (45), Anthony Zager (48) and Gabe Mota (49) all shot in the 40s in the win.
Panther Jalen McGraw was the game’s medalist with a 39. Brayden Thayer and Ethan Mauthe both got a 45, Mike Stennes shot a 50 and Cam Curtis finished with a 63 for Pioneer.
Turners 14.5, Easthampton 9.5 – Joey Mosca was the game’s medalist with a 39 as the Thunder claimed a 14.5-9.5 win over the Eagles on Tuesday at the Thomas Memorial.
Jackson Day shot a 52, Reese Ewell a 56, Grady Derry a 54, Braeden Talbot a 56 and Jack Throws a 66 to give the victory to Turners.
Frontier 3, Renaissance 0 – The Redhawks did their damage in the first half, scoring three goals in the first 40 minutes of play to climb to a 3-0 win over the Phoenix on Tuesday.
Maddie Bennett scored twice for Frontier, the first in the 22nd minute thanks to an assist from Josie Fosnot and the second in the 37th minute with the assist going to Anna Petrin.
Caroline Crocker also found the back of the net for the Redhawks, making it in the 23rd minute with the assist for Bennett.
Kaitlyn Mackin made two saves for Frontier’s goal.
Greenfield 13, Duggan 0 – The Green Wave got the better of Duggan’s defense on Tuesday.
Azemina Cecunjanin led the way, scoring six goals and assisting on three more as Greenfield clinched a 13-0 victory at Springfield.
Emma Savoy scored two goals and an assist and Elderina Cecunjanin scored two goals and three assists in the victory. Kaitlin Lavoine added two goals and provided an assist, Elizabeth Trudeau scored one goal and assisted another and Jenny Petcu had an assist for the Green Wave.
Athol 3, Franklin Tech 1 – Tied 1-1 at halftime, the Bears found a way to put two in the back of the net in the second half to walk away with a 3-1 win over the visiting Eagles on Tuesday.
Liz Mailloux opened the scoring for Athol with an assist from Emma Bacigalupo. Olivia Horrigan gave the Bears a 2-1 lead on a Hannah Cardosa flat in the second half and Bacigalupo extended the lead to 3-1 with the assist going to Vanessa Hamilton.
The Eagles’ goal was their first of the season, set up by a pass from Skylar Alamed to Anne Kolodziej. Kolodziej then found Ana Dunn, who managed to tie 1-1 in the first half.
Jenna Bonenfant made four saves in Athol’s win while Emily Merritt blocked 15 shots, including a penalty, for Franklin Tech.
Center 2, Mahar 1 – A pair of second-half goals propelled the Golden Eagles to a 2-1 victory over the Senators on Tuesday at Orange.
Ava Salvador tied the game 1-1 for Central with a penalty with 17 minutes left and Myra Green scored the game-winning goal with seven minutes left.
Sienna Moore scored Mahar’s goal with seven minutes left in the first half thanks to an assist from Astha Bernard. Macklinley Drew made seven saves in the loss.
Franklin Tech 6, Palmer 0 – Another dominant performance on Tuesday has the Eagles sitting a perfect 5-0 on the young season.
Lilly Ross and Lauren Ross scored two goals apiece, and Franklin Tech earned a 6-0 road victory over Palmer in a County League game.
Hannah Gilbert and Kiera Stevens also scored in the win, while Kaitlin Trudeau handed out two assists and Emmy Thurston also got one assist.
The Eagles dominated 18-0 on shots and 19-1 on penalty corners. Goalkeeper Madison Markwell didn’t have to save a save in the shutout win.
Hampshire 2, Athol 1 – Tied 1-1, the Raiders scored in the fourth quarter to claim a 2-1 County League victory over Athol at O’Brien Field.
Chloe Moynihan and Jaiden Kudelka scored for Hampshire. Sadey Lehtomaki scored Athol’s goal and goalkeeper Sam Kenniff made 18 saves.
Pioneer 1, Holyoke 0 – Kelseigh Sargent scored an unassisted goal to lead the Panthers to a 1-0 victory over the Purple Knights in a County League game at Northfield on Tuesday.
Smith Academy 3, Turners 0 – Makena Valente scored twice and Charollotte Hennings found the back of the net to lead the Falcons to a 3-0 victory over the Thunder on Tuesday.
Franklin Tech 3, Mahar 1 – Haleigh Benoit had four kills, three aces and an assist to lead the Eagles to a 25-14, 25-12, 23-25, 25-13 triumph over the Senators on Tuesday in Orange.
Val Noel had three kills and Shelby O’Leary had a trio of aces and digs in the Franklin Tech victory.
Saylor Kegans recorded six wins and four aces for Mahar. Emilia Ramos added five aces and Olivia Mayer had a pair of wins and aces in the loss.
Greenfield 3, Pioneer 0 – Behind a 14 ace, six assists performance from Rachel Dodge, the Green Wave claimed a 25-11, 25-18, 25-23 victory over the Panthers on Tuesday at Greenfield.
Kelsey Richardson added eight kills and three aces and Karisma Santana smashed six kills and six aces in Greenfield’s victory.
Alana Redeker had an ace and three kills, KK Lounder had an ace and two kills and Marina duclos had two aces and one kill in the loss to Pioneer.
Turners 3, Mohawk Trail 0 – Emily Young did a bit of everything, handing out 11 assists to go along with two assists and 10 aces as the Thunder claimed a 25-17, 26-24, 25-23 win over the Warriors on Tuesday at Turners.
Abbi Holloway had five kills and five aces, Madi Liimatainen had seven and Jill Reynolds added five aces, serving well in the third set to seal the victory for Turners.
Palmer King had four assists, five aces and three assists in the loss. Octavia Crawford added four kills, two assists and an ace and Alex Lilly had a pair of aces and digs for Mohawk Trail.

Frontier 16, Smith Voke 42
Greenfield 15, Smith Voke 40 – Redhawks Luke Howard (15:55) and Patrick Boyden were the first two to cross the finish line, along with other Frontier riders Erich Brown (6th, 16:50) and Amory Maxey (ninth, 17:12) Joined them in the top 10.
Ethan Bross took third place (16:23), Gianni Passiglia finished fourth (16:36), Jackson Caron finished fifth (16:40), Eric Badillo finished seventh (17:03) and Liviu Mihailicenco finished ninth (17:25) for the green wave.
Monson 27, Mohawk Trail 28
Mohawk Trail 23, Pope Francis 33 – It was another exceptional day for warrior Dennis Simmons, who was the first to cross the finish line at 6:45 p.m. on the 3.1 mile course in Monson on Tuesday.
Vincent Gauthier was fourth with a time of 21:15 and Sean O’Dea was sixth with a time of 21:24 for Mohawk Trail.
Southwick 21, Pioneer 36
Hampshire 15, Pioneer 50
Hopkins 17, Pioneer 45 – Sam Bodenstein was the Panthers’ best player, finishing 11th with a 17:21 run at Hopkins Academy on Tuesday.
Border 15, Greenfield 50 – Eight of the top 10 riders were Redhawks, with Abigail Howard (18:27), Sylvie DiBartolomeo (18:31) and Leah Gump (18:42) the top three.
Sadie Ross (5th, 7:10 p.m.), Ayla Star (6th, 7:43 p.m.), Sasha Malo (7th, 8:00 p.m.), Nicole Plasse (8th, 8:07 p.m.) and Angelina Egland (10th, 10:24 p.m.) had good races for Frontier.
Kandice Lu took fourth place (18:57) and Ava Fortin placed ninth (21:13) finished in the top 10 for the green wave.
Monson 24, Mohawk Trail 31
Pope Francis 24, Mohawk Trail 31 – Elise Pinkham covered the 3.1 mile course at Monson in 25:27 to place second overall, but the Warriors fell to both the Mustangs and the Cardinals on Tuesday.
Pioneer 21, Southwick 40
Pioneer 21, Hopkins 40
Hampshire 17, Pioneer 47 – Panther Breanna May placed fourth overall with a time of 19:51 and Samantha Baldwin won eight with a race of 20:22 at Hopkins Academy on Tuesday.
Frontier 3, Mount Everett 0 – Tyler Dubreuil scored twice and Brady Burch also found the back of the net as the Redhawks claimed a 3-0 victory over the Eagles on Monday.
