A man was killed after being hit by a car in west Sydney this morning, just meters from a public school.
Police have stated that this man, over 60 years old, has not been identified yet.
Emergency services were called to Hume Road, near Hedges Avenue, Strathfield following the accident at 10:40
The 30-year-old driver of the vehicle was taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
An investigative unit established a crime scene with officers from the Auburn area command
A report is being prepared for the coroner and the police are asking anyone with any information contact Crime Stoppers
