UPDATE 10.45AM: The Bruce Hwy has fallen into a cluttered nightmare with a serious accident and the school holiday traffic causing long delays.
Queensland Ambulance Service teams treat a wounded man repeatedly after the vehicle he was driving rolled and crashed into the trees at Caboolture around 9:10 am.
He should be transported to the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital in a stable state.
The accident blocked one of the southbound lanes and caused significant traffic jams.
Currently, there is more than 6 km of congestion between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane causing a delay of 65 minutes.
9:30 am: Motorists are warned of long delays caused by a serious accident on the Bruce Highway.
The crash of a single vehicle that drove is located south of the King John Bridge at Caboolture.
Emergency services warn that the southbound lane is blocked and long delays are expected.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Queensland Ambulance Service respond.

The UHF Emergency Service team from South East Queensland reported the crash in the south lanes of the Bruce Road at Caboolture around 9 pm.

The traffic cameras at Queensland Transport and Main Roads show significant congestion in the area.
</p>

The accident occurred a few moments after the Queensland Ambulance Service urged motorists to take special care today, as holidaymakers were returning home after the holidays winter school.
</p>

"A reminder to take special care on the roads today, with an influx of traffic that should coincide with the end of the school holidays," tweeted the QAS.
</p>
