Woman's cruel act towards a Northbridge coffee drinker caught on camera

A Perth driver's dash cam has captured the nasty moment an uncharitable stranger ruined one of life's simple joys – a fresh coffee.

A woman is seen from a shop at the corner of Newcastle Street and Beaufort Street in Northbridge on Tuesday.

As she tries to put on her sunglbades, her beverage – which seems to be a big coffee – falls to the ground.

But all is not lost.

The coffee cup hits the bricks on its lid, saving it from any major spillage.

Crisis averted, or so the woman thinks.

As the cup rolls to a stop, she gets into a position to pick it up.

And then the unthinkable happens.

A stranger goes out of her way to kick the coffee cup across the pavers, bumping into the woman in the process.

"The first thing I thought it was a bit funny that she dropped it," the driver said.

"And then I thought, 'Oh, actually, the coffee has been saved so is not lost'.

"Then out of nowhere the lady with the glbades bumped into her and stomped on her coffee.

"I just felt sorry for her. It's enough to make you lose a little faith in society. "
