5.30PM: A WOMAN has died, and two people have been flown to hospital in a serious condition, after a mini-van crashed near Coffs Harbour this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Bucca Road, near Hallgaths Road, Coffs Harbour, about 3.30pm after reports a Honda Odyssey, carrying six occupants, left the roadway and rolled.
Police have confirmed a female rear pbadenger died at the scene.
The male driver and his male pbadenger were airlifted to a hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
It is understood the people involved in the crash were Chinese Nationals.
The remaining pbadengers were treated for minor injuries and were taken to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital.
Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District attended and established a crime scene.
Crash Investigation Unit officers are en route to the scene and will conduct an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
5PM: ONE person has died and another two people have been seriously injured in a fatal van rollover near Coffs Harbour this afternoon.
It is understood a mini van rolled on Bucca Rd, near Nana Glen, around 3.30pm.
Police have confirmed one person is dead at the scene, while another two pbadengers have been seriously injured.
The Westpac Rescue Lifesaver Helicopter responded to this afternoon’s scene and airlifted two people to hospital.
Other patients were rushed to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital via road ambulances.
A crash scene investigation is underway into the cause of the crash.
3.45PM: EMERGENCY services are on the scene of a serious crash on Bucca Rd, near Coffs Harbour.
Ambulance paramedics, police and State Emergency Services crews are at the location.
The accident happened around 3.30pm.
The crash scene is approximately 13km along Bucca Rd from Solitary Islands Way.
It has been reported one person is trapped another occupant is seriously injured.
Paramedics are rushing patients to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital.
