Balmain stabbing supermarket: A couple faces an alleged attack on a teenager

A man and a woman were accused of stabbing a teenager in front of a supermarket in western Sydney last week.

The 16-year-old and his 14-year-old friend left Woolworths in Balmain. approached by a man armed with a knife, the police said.

Police alleged that the words were exchanged before the man stabbed the 16-year-old in the abdomen, then left the area with a woman.

The teenager was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he was operated on and is now in stable condition.

Jeremy Allan, age 29, was charged with serious bodily injury or injury with intent to commit murder, grievous bodily harm and reckless injury. Her partner, Cbadandra Ross, 23, was charged with concealing a serious criminal act

The couple appeared Sunday at Parramatta Bail Court, where Mr. Allan was denied bail, while Ms. Ross denied Did not apply for bail. Rapid and unprovoked attack

Interim Super Senator Anthony Bell said that the incident had left the teenager and his family traumatized.
