Balmain stabbing supermarket: A couple faces an alleged attack on a teenager

A man and a woman were accused of stabbing a teenager in front of a supermarket in western Sydney last week.

The 16-year-old and his 14-year-old friend left Woolworths in Balmain. approached by a man armed with a knife, the police said.

Police alleged that the words were exchanged before the man stabbed the 16-year-old in the abdomen, then left the area with a woman.

The teenager was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he was operated on and is now in stable condition.
