Call for a clean fight before the election of Vic

Community groups called for a smooth fight between political parties as the flag of the starter is brandished during Victoria's election.

In a joint statement, groups such as Environment Victoria, the Australian Conservation Foundation, the Asylum Resource Center and the Victorian Trades Hall Council, have called for an end to the "political dirty".

"We call on political candidates to give voters the opportunity to make fair and informed decisions about the future of our state in these elections," said Tuesday's statement.

"Political leaders are judged by their words and actions.

"We are looking for political leaders who will represent all Victorians."

The appeal was held on the same day as the Victorian Electoral Commission issued ordinances, officially putting the state in interim transitional mode before the November 24 elections.

The two main parties have already organized their campaign to launch the campaign. On Monday, Labor Prime Minister Daniel Andrews went to his hometown of Wangaratta on the country bus.

Leader of the liberal-national opposition, Matthew, also left Melbourne to take his bus to Ballarat.
