A Northam man has died from suspected dehydration at a popular WA tourist spot.
The 26-year-old was walking with a group of people around 1pm in the Kalbarri National Park, 600km north of Perth, when he collapsed and died.
Police say the group of dehydrated before collapsing at the popular landmark Nature's Window.
Members of the public tried to resuscitate the man while waiting for St. John Ambulance officers, but he was pronounced dead by a short time later by paramedics.
Kalbarri reached a top of 28C today, with temperatures set to 32C tomorrow.
It is the third suspected dehydration-related death in the national park in the past eight years.
In 2010 a 40-year-old male tourist died at Nature's Window following a dehydration and in 2016 a 50-year-old male tourist died while walking in the national park.
Kalbarri police will now prepare a report for the coroner. They are not treating the death as suspicious.
