Melbourne can look forward to a calm few days after the city was battered by strong winds and intense storms that caused suburban chaos on some train lines and a rush hour of rush for some motorists.
The Meteorological Office issued a weather warning announcing strong winds blowing near 100 km / h of Victoria
Gusts of wind at Melbourne airport exceeded 91 km / h, while gusts from Ballarat exceeded 100 km / h. In Port Phillip, the gusts of peak wind exceeded 125 km / h.

The BoM forecast for tomorrow in Melbourne has some winds reaching less than half of this, reaching 45km / h.

Metro Trains has posted several reviews on Twitter about services delayed before the commuter rush in the afternoon.
On the Glen Waverley line, buses replace trains between Burnley and Darling after a tree fell on the rails of Glen Iris.
At least 14 buses were ordered but the subway trains say that they would take more than an hour to arrive.

VicRoads warned motorists in anticipation of the severe weather to slow down and take extra precautions during the afternoon.
Motorists were asked to pay attention to debris on the roads. Warrnambool, Bendigo, Seymour, Maryborough, Ballarat, Geelong, Melbourne and Traralgon and all the alpine complexes have all been included in the weather bureau warning.
