A BRISBANE officer was caught sleeping at work while he was maneuvering a radar radar in the north of the city.
A video of the man emerged online, showing him dozing at the wheel of the unmarked car Narangba Rd in Kallangur Tuesday morning
A member of the public approached the vehicle which, says- he still had the engine running and the pistol at speed resting on the dashboard.
Cameron Holland, 25, said that he had pbaded the same sleeping man 20 minutes earlier and decided to intervene when he saw the officer still there.
"Where an unmarked policeman normally sits and who's sitting here right now," says Holland in the video, "he's there, asleep in his car … that's for that we pay taxes. "
In the video the sheepish police officer admitted h He had "dropped" when Mr. Holland suggested that he had slept at work
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) said that he was aware of the video and that he made contact with the agent in the pictures.
