Damaged appliances, including the oven and cooktop in the kitchen and a split-system air conditioner, had all been ripped off and broken from their foundations.

Mountains of clothing and garbage trails were abandoned and walls were broken in each room, leaving huge holes gaping.

"I do not understand how people can have that in mind to do it," Hendrik told 9News.

He believes the savage rampage has arrived in just 24 hours, telling the police that his former tenant of eight months could be responsible.

Hendrik issued a notice of eviction to the man and his young family last month due to unpaid bills

"They were over a thousand dollars late in their rent", was -he explains.

"I do not know if he was expecting me to let him stay while he does not pay rent."

The confrontation was filmed on the phone of Hendrik.

Despite threats and damage, Henrik says it's the first time that he has a problem renting the house privately.

The damage bill is expected to exceed $ 100,000, but fortunately the property is insured.

"I was hoping to retire soon and when I retire (the investment property) will be an income for me," he said.
