A man died at the hospital after being shot in a unit in western Sydney.
The man was shot dead at the block of the building located at the corner of George Street and Lachlan Street, at Warwick Farm, around 5:20 pm.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken under police escort to the Liverpool Hospital in critical condition, but he died later.
A crime scene has been established and the police are talking to several witnesses.
The man killer is on the run and the identity of the victim is not yet known.
