Police question guests after reports of disturbances led to the discovery of a woman's body outside a motel in Maryborough, on the Fraser Coast, Queensland .
Paramedics and police were called to Motel Ferry Street around 5 am after being notified of disturbances.
Upon arrival, they found the body of the woman.
Acting Detective Inspector Wade Lee said the police viewed the death as suspicious.

"The investigation is in its infancy, so let's still find out if it's a homicide," he said.
"Investigations continue to determine the nature of the dispute."
Detective Inspector Lee said the police did not know the woman's name or how she died.
"We currently have a team of forensic doctors on site and we are still trying to determine the cause of death," he said.
"There were a number of witnesses who were at the motel at the time and they badist us in our investigations as witnesses."
He added that the detectives were looking for a person of interest that they believe the woman knew.
"This is not a random attack, it seems that these cases appeared when these parties got to know each other."
