270,322 visitors attended the national exhibition "The Return of the Legion"

The national exhibition "The Return of the Legion" to Enns, Schlögl and Oberranna ended yesterday. A total of 270,322 visitors were counted.

The most recent national exhibition "Man and Horse" 2016 in Stadl-Paura attracted nearly 300 000 people, record held by the decentralized exhibition "Salzkammergut" of 2008 with about 565 126 visitors.
What is left of this regional show? The Ennser Lauriacum Museum is being rebuilt and is expected to reopen on 1 May. A lasting impression is to uncover a search screen at the company's premises. Between two layers of gravel on the Roman road was a Roman gold chain with a gold pendant. The fully preserved "foxtail chain" is attributed to the first half of the third century. In addition, in the summer of 2019, the designation of the Danube limes (western section of Bavaria to Hungary) should be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The next national exhibition will take place in Steyr in 2021. Title of work: "Nobility – Citizens – Workers: the path of modern Upper Austria". Places: Schloss Lamberg, Innerberger Stadel and the Arbeitswelt Museum.
