A 35-year-old man, wounded in the night of July 1 after a fight and a fall in front of a club on Währinger's head, died at the hospital last week. This said police spokesman Harald Sörös on Tuesday at the request of the APA. The investigation is now in the direction of a personal injury, he said. A security guard should have pushed the man.

"It is suspected that investigations are ongoing," said Sörös. No additional information is currently provided. The 35-year-old asylum seeker from Yemen was alone after the incident half a week ago, despite a bleeding head injury, where he was found unconscious a few hours later. The rescue led the man to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries several days later.
